Adirondack Craft Beverage Trail
This summer, the Adirondack Craft Beverage Trail is coming to Washington County, Warren County and northern Saratoga County. Along with Victory View Vineyard, the trail is comprised of four other wineries, five breweries, two distilleries and one cider house. Soon printed trail maps will be distributed to over 300 locations in the Capital District.
State wide, the craft beverage industry of wine, beer, spirits and cider already represents billions in economic benefit. It generates jobs, regional tourism and economic development. The recent easing of burdensome state requirements and restrictions, some dating back to prohibition, is sure to help the farm-based beverage sector grow.
Victory View Vineyard is proud to be a charter member of the Upper Hudson Valley Wine & Grape Association, the not-for-profit corporation formed in 2010 that created the Upper Hudson Valley Wine Trail, and as a new member of the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce, we are pleased to be a charter member of the recently formed Adirondack Craft Beverage Trail. These two trails hold the promise of continued agricultural stewardship, enhanced agricultural diversity, agritourism and growth of the farm-based beverage sector in our local economy.
