Frontenac Freedom Release

This event has ended.
A bottle of Freedom in the vineyard - crafted with frontenac grapes.

To celebrate America's birthday we are releasing a new full body, dry red wine we call Freedom. For special hours we will pour Freedom and six other wines today, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, July 1-4th, Noon to 6 pm.

Our new wine, 2015 Freedom, is crafted from our vineyard's Frontenac grapes and aged in oak barrels made with Minnesota oak staves and French oak heads. Freedom has plenty of bright cherry notes and is the perfect complement for steaks, ribs, or burgers off the grill.

The Frontenac grape was developed at the University of Minnesota, and we planted it in our vineyard in 2013. Trained to a Geneva Double Curtain trellis this extremely vigorous and disease resistant vine produces large yields of wonderful fruit.

Sample a taste of Washington County - seven wines for $5. By-the-glass wine is also $5. Enjoy the casual, relaxed atmosphere of our tasting room, barrel room and patio. Stop by to help us celebrate! Huzzah!
